  "projectDescription": "Riverbank erosion is one of the most prevalent problems facing resource managers in the upper Connecticut River and its tributaries, which is usually the result of the river's natural tendency to scour and deposit sediments as it flows through the landscape, among other things. The Vermont Conservation Corps installed an 1100-foot tree revetment. Additionally, 2000 willow cuttings were interplanted among conifer branches in the slope and a 35' buffer of 200 conifers and 200 wildlife shrubs were planted on the upper bank.",
