  "projectDescription": "The Game Farm project in Sandwich, Massachusetts was designed and implemented to increase tidal flow and facilitate freshwater drainage from an impoundment. An earthen dam built by the Game Farm in the 1930's and a second, smaller impoundment upstream created by a railroad right-of-way, were both removed and the tidal stream was restored to an open channel. A small foot bridge provides passage over the stream channel. The project was a collaborative effort of several agencies providing funding and support and NOAA's Community-based Restoration Program.",
