  "projectDescription": "This project restored mangrove and saltmarsh grass habitat along 5,200 linear feet of shoreline at Port Canaveral.  Restoration activities included planting 250 black mangrove seedlings, 20,000 rooted red mangrove propagules, and 4,000 smooth cordgrass sprigs. They also built a second nursery at Titusville High School. Approximately 30-acres of native vegetation was restored and the site now provides a source of increased recreational and educational opportunities for the community.",
