  "projectDescription": "Chinook landing is along the Columbia River and provides rearing and off-channel resting habitat to a variety of the salmonids and other fish species that inhabit this portion of the river. Trash and invasive species were removed from the site and numerous native trees and shrubs were planted and mulched along the edge of the wetland and in the seasonally flooded riparian zone.  Twelve acres were restored, which will improve habitat conditions.",
