"projectDescription": "Friendship Park is a 28.5 acre park that is comprised of both upland and riparian habitat. The area was overrun with exotic invasives, although it also has old intact forest with species including old pacifc Yew. The Salmon Corps assisted with exotics removal, tree planting and mulching at the site. Eventually restoration should yield increased habitat, increased food resources, improved water quality, decreased summer water temperature, and reduced sedimentation at the site.",
