  "projectDescription": "NOAA's Community-based Restoration Program, Restore America's Estuaries, and Fish America Foundation partnered with Tampa Bay Watch to fund the Tampa Bay High School Wetland Nursery Program to restore mangroves and salt marshes. High school ecology and science club students built wetland nurseries on campus and grew salt marshes to be used for Tampa Bay restoration projects. As many as 300 community volunteers joined the students to participate in weekend planting events. In a typical year, an average of 20,000 salt marsh plants may be transplanted to restore an average of 5 acres or more of habitat.",
