  "projectDescription": "The Cumberland Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited worked with a variety of partners to remove two run-of-the-river dams: Black Dam on Conodoguinet Creek and Trindle Spring Dam on Trindle Springs Run.  These removals  addressed 2 of the last 3 remaining blockages within the watershed, opening up more than 22 miles of habitat for anadromous fish.   NOAA funding covered the costs to remove only the lower Black Dam blockage, which is still in the anadromous reach.  Other funds from National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and EPA Chesapeake Bay Program covered the costs of removing Trindle Springs Dam, which is classified as trout waters.",
