The goal of this project was to design a series of smaller terrace cells to provide an opportunity for smaller dredging projects to economically and beneficially dispose of dredge material by reducing the costs that would be incurred in constructing the terraces needed to contain material. The marsh terraces, if implemented, would serve as containment berms for future beneficial use of dredged material to restore marsh habitat and natural hydrology of wetlands in the Lower Neches WMA adjacent to the Neches River in Orange County, Texas.",
