  "projectDescription": "This project restored natural tidal flow and fish passage to a two-acre salt marsh by replacing an undersized 18 inch culvert with a 2' high x 3' wide box culvert. The restricted marsh had been documented to have tidal flows almost eight inches lower than the unrestricted adjacent marsh.  The increased capacity allowed for greater tidal flow on the marsh surface as well as increased storm water drainage during flood events.",
