  "projectDescription": "New River Estuary Oyster Highway (NREOH) is creating oyster habitat stepping-stones in the central portion of the New River Estuary that support biogenic reefs via local hard-substrate subsidies, as well as NRE-wide enhanced oyster larval supply. Phase IV will expand on the success of the oyster reefs by adding more substrate and oysters to each reef at 12 sites. This will ensure the entire designed footprint of the reefs will be filled with substrate and oysters. The primary project activities will be: 1) addition of 8,500 oyster castles across the 12 existing oyster reefs, and 2) addition of more than 1,000,000 oysters annually, for a total of 3,050,000 oysters.",
