Floating wetland islands and bank stabilization will improve habitat areas for local wildlife, while the seawall removal and boardwalk construction provide safer community resources within the park. The project will complete the following activities. 1) Removal of existing degraded seawall and restoration of 300 linear feet of the bank. 2) Addition of floating wetland modules; and construction of 300 linear feet of resilient living shoreline with 250 linear feet of elevated boardwalk over Chaney Creek to replace the utility of the seawall for the local fishing community.",
