  "projectDescription": "This project restored a 30-acre wetland along the Oleta River. This consisted of removal of solid waste, soils and exotic vegetation, the placement of grading and fill, stabilization of the shoreline and the planting of native wetland vegetation.  Abandoned concrete structures such as seawalls and fill pads were removed, while the concrete debris was moved to the canal entrance. Mangroves were planted by volunteers in the final phase of restoration.",
