The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and Conservation Resource Alliance will replace an undersized culvert with a timber bridge which will reconnect habitat for aquatic organisms and restore natural river function. Cedar Run Creek flows through high quality cedar swamp habitat that is important to species and habitat diversity in Leelanau County. This project is one of several led by the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and partners to restore fish passage in northern Michigan.",
