They will remove barriers to fish passage, reconnect rivers to floodplains, and restore natural ecosystem processes to help support the recovery of Upper Willamette River spring Chinook salmon and winter steelhead. Robust environmental education and engagement with local communities—including tribal partners—are integrated throughout the projects. These projects will build upon many years of previous habitat restoration in high priority areas for the recovery of Upper Willamette River spring Chinook and winter steelhead.The WCP project project entails a cultural resources survey and restoration feasibility analysis to look at options for restoring natural processes.",
