"projectDescription": "The Skagit River System Cooperative will restore access to fish habitat that has been blocked by undersized or improperly installed culverts. SRSC will provide a subaward to Skagit County to complete fish passage improvement designs at two fish passage barriers on County Roads that are a high priority to the Sauk Suiattle Indian Tribe (SITC) and the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community (SITC.) The Hatchery Creek site (RC1) is located on Christian Camp Road, within an easement across property owned by SSIT. The Martin Slough site (IL26) is located where Martin Road crosses a side channel of the Skagit River in an area known to be highly productive for juvenile Chinook and other salmon.",
