  "projectDescription": "Snohomish County and the Tulalip Tribes will replace a 0% passable culvert and fishway on French Creek, a tributary to the Snohomish River, with a 54-foot wide bottomless arch culvert. This is the most downstream barrier on French Creek, and once complete, the project will restore access to 7.5 miles of upstream intact spawning and riparian habitat. This is one of 16 culverts the Tulalip Tribes and partners will remove or replace with structures designed to withstand climate change. They will restore connectivity to more than 32 miles of habitat in priority streams for the recovery of salmon.",
