  "projectDescription": "This project stabilized the streambanks, revegetated of the riparian zone and construction of two elevated, light-penetrating stairways and walkways to protect habitat while providing public access to fishing sites. The stairways and walkways were constructed on steel pilings and fitted with wooden handrails to control access off the structure. The stairs and walkways now protect riparian vegetation while allowing park users to safely access two king salmon fishing areas previously accessed via steep, unstable footpaths.",
