"projectDescription": "The Tulalip Tribes will replace a partial barrier culvert on Coho Creek, a tributary to Quilceda Creek and the lower mainstem Snohomish River, with a 60-foot long bridge. This project is located on Tribally owned property within the boundaries of the Tulalip Reservation and represents a high priority in ecological restoration for the Tribes. The culvert replacement will restore access to 13.5 miles of upstream spawning and rearing habitat. This is one of 16 culverts the Tulalip Tribes and partners will remove or replace with structures designed to withstand climate change. They will restore connectivity to more than 32 miles of habitat in priority streams for the recovery of salmon.",
