  "projectDescription": "Stream bank stability was very poor in the Jim Brown Creek and the outside meander bends were especially susceptible to severe cutting and eroding during high flow events. Stream bank stabilization was used in the form of boulders, root wads, brush mattresses, pole plantings, and wooden revetments. Additional planting and maintenance was conducted by the Nez Perce Salmon Corps. This project decreased sediment and provided shade, which reduced temperatures and provided cover for species.",
