  "projectDescription": "Save the Bay is receiving appropriated funds to support a four year community project that is intended to leverage its 25 years of habitat restoration and advocacy experience by identifying, developing, and implementing habitat restoration projects throughout Rhode Island portions ofthe Narragansett Bay Watershed.The Mashapaug Brook Stream Connectivity Assessment project will assess obstructions to a migratory fish passage from the confluence with the Pawtuxet River to Cunliffe Dam that prevent river herring from accessing a future fish ladder.  This project will include a report and coordination with project partners to identify future funding options to design and implement future restoration options to restore fish passage to the lower Mashapaug Brook.",
