Through this work, coastal wetlands will become more resilient to climate change and sea level rise. Retired, low-lying cranberry farmlands provide a potential space for coastal wetlands to migrate inland to avoid disappearing. This effort will implement a pilot restoration project at Mark's Cove Bog to inform similar, future projects across the region and support sustained cultural land uses for tribal communities.",
