The activities and outcomes will strengthen ecosystem resilience and help coastal communities prepare and adapt to coastal storms, flooding, and sea level rise. This will be accomplished by constructing a model living shoreline concept near MCAS Beaufort,  implementing multiple living shoreline projects to underserved communities, and developing a state-wide resilience implementation plan that uses large-scale Nature-Based Solutions to address coastal risks.",
