Floodplain and wetland communities in the lower reaches of the Coast Fork provide habitat for Oregon chub, western pond turtle, spring Chinook and other at-risk species.The assessment was necessary to complete an integrated assessment of the basin. The Council will use it to form recommendations, action planning, and restoration priorities.",
