  "projectDescription": "This project restored poorly functional lowland habitat by re-meandering 6,100 feet of stream and by creating three freshwater wetland ponds (totaling 4 acres) to provide cold water summer habitat, and off channel refugia during peak winter streamflow.  This improved rearing habitat for juvenile salmonids including ESA- listed Oregon Coast coho. Fish passage to 6.5 miles of spawning and rearing habitat were improved by replacing three undersized culverts with new larger structures. Large wood was installed along more than 1.6 miles of Kentuck Creek, and riparian function and habitat was improved by developing 14 acres of riparian buffers along 1.6 miles of stream within the project area.",
