  "projectDescription": "The Folly Landing Living Shoreline project site is located on state-owned land in Folly Beach, SC, and also includes the nearby Turn of River location. This site is part of a series of sites that are included in the “Community-based living shoreline creation in the urbanized watershed of Charleston County, South Carolina, USA to support habitat resiliency and ecosystem services” project implemented by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. The upland banks of the Folly Landing site were experiencing erosion that was alleviated by the placement of bagged oyster shell and planting of Spartina alterniflora. This project was installed along 260 linear feet of eroding shoreline and will result in approximately 0.02 acres of oyster reef habitat and 0.02 acres of salt marsh.",
