"projectDescription": "Trout Unlimited restored several sites in  Mendocino County, California on legacy timber lands to benefit several listed and managed species. The forested landscapes in Northern California have been subjected to landscape level disturbances typically associated with industrial scale logging operations, and these disturbances have contributed to the decline of Pacific salmonid populations. Through the Redwood Creek Instream Habitat Enhancement project Trout Unlimited and partners treated 1.5 stream miles with 99 pieces of wood at 45 sites in the SF Eel River watershed to create habitat for Southern Oregon/Northern California Coast (SONCC) coho salmon and Northern California (NC) steelhead trout.",
