  "projectDescription": "Trout Unlimited looked to restore several sites in  Mendocino County, California on legacy timber lands to benefit several listed and managed species. The forested landscapes in Northern California have been subjected to landscape level disturbances typically associated with industrial scale logging operations, and these disturbances have contributed to the decline of Pacific salmonid populations. Through the Julias Creek Instream Habitat Enhancement project, Trout Unlimited and partners treated approximately 1.9 miles with 301 pieces of large wood at 71 sites in the Usal Creek watershed to create habitat for Central California Coast (CCC) coho salmon and Northern California (NC) steelhead trout.",
