"projectDescription": "Trout Unlimited restored several sites in Mendocino County, California on legacy timber lands to benefit several listed and managed species. The forested landscapes in Northern California have been subjected to landscape level disturbances typically associated with industrial scale logging operations, and these disturbances have contributed to the decline of Pacific salmonid populations. Through the Dutch Charlie Creek Instream Habitat Enhancement project, Trout Unlimited and partners treated approx. 2 miles of the creek with 203 pieces of wood at 96 sites in the South Fork Eel River watershed to create habitat for Southern Oregon/Northern California Coast Coho, Northern California Steelhead, California Coast Chinook.",
