  "projectDescription": "The Lower Nehalem Watershed Council has completed watershed assessments that identified stream reaches that currently support – or have the potential to support – abundant coho throughout their freshwater life cycle (summer and winter rearing, and spawning).  These valuable reaches are called \"Anchor Habitat.\"  The installation of large woody debris (LWD) is one of the most effective restoration techniques that we use to maintain and increase production in identified anchor habitats.  Designs for several project sites where completed for the addition of large woody debris to maintain and increase the productivity of these areas.",
