  "projectDescription": "This project helped to design restoration for several locations in the Lower Nehalem Watershed, in areas downstream of Humbug Creek. The project examined several streams that have cold water necessary for salmon health, but that don't have a population of juvenile salmon. Designs were proposed to add habitat cover for juveniles into these streams, to encourage juvenile fish to remain in the streams where they can benefit from lower flow volumes than those that occur in the mainstem of the Nehalem River.",
