The project provides additional and improved recreational fishing access at the Sol Legare public boat landing on James Island (SC).  The project was implemented by the Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission (CCPRC), as part of their larger maintenance and improvements project on the property. Construction began on March 9, 2020 and was completed on June 5, 2020. The fishing pier opened to the public that same month.",
