  "projectDescription": "As part of the Trustee-approved shellfish restoration work plan, The Nature Conservancy (TNC) identified, assessed, and ranked potential shellfish restoration sites. Through coordination with and review by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and the Trustees, TNC completed the shellfish restoration site prioritization in early October 2015. The guidance document prioritized project siting based on multiple assessment criteria including spatial nexus of a site to the oil spill injury area, site-specific technical feasibility, and municipal capacity and engagement. Three high priority oyster restoration sites were identified and selected in the Towns of Fairhaven, Wareham and Bourne, MA. The projects consist of shell cultch placement and oyster spat on shell placed on the shell placement sites. The project include annual performance monitoring of each oyster restoration site.",
