  "projectDescription": "This project on Swamp Creek increased hydrologic connectivity throughout an 11 acre tidal wetland and created permanent fish passage for adults and juvenile fish including threatened Oregon Coast Coho. With future funding, the project will also enhance the character and complexity of 34 acres of aquatic bottomland habitat by restoring native plant species and adding log structures. These outcomes will ensure long‐term access to overwinter rearing habitat for coho salmon, and significantly enhance the complexity and extent of that habitat. The project began with an assessment and planning phase to determine the appropriate fish passage design.",
