The City of Treasure Island recently purchased this property as a new public beach access site.  The project includes the restoration of beach dune communities and the creation of a beach access with a passive park.  Native dune vegetation will be planted to help establish a protective dune.  Observation decks and limited paths and walkways will be integrated into the dune restoration to provide beach access and passive recreation opportunities.",
