"projectDescription": "The Noisette Creek Wetland Restoration project, in North Charleston, South Carolina, resulted in the restoration of 11.7 acres of tidal marsh. Creeks were excavated and reconnected through a relict berm to allow tidal inundation from Noisette Creek and the Cooper River to reach a formerly abandoned golf course. The project was constructed by the Evergreen Shipping Company as compensation for natural resource injuries caused by the M/V Ever Reach oil spill in Charleston Harbor on September 30, 2002.",
