"projectDescription": "This walkway project will compensate the public for the loss of recreational use of area beaches during the 1993 Tampa Bay oil spill. The Gulf Way Beach Walkway project in Passe-a-Grille is a concrete walkway that ties into a previously existing beach walkway system and extends the existing walkway system to the north from 9th Avenue to 23rd Avenue, approximately 3400 feet. The walkway is of similar design and width to the existing walkway. The project will enhance public access to the beach and provide greater opportunity for passive and active use of the beach.",
