"projectDescription": "The County Line Restoration Project is located on the White River near the town of Pacific in King County Washington. For this project King County constructed a 6,000 ft setback levee and then removed the existing levee. They also planted riparian areas and constructed large woody debris structures to disperse flows. This area of the White River has frequently flooded damaging properties adjacent to the River. The White River is also home to numerous salmonid species including listed Chinook. The Chinook recovery plan for the Puyallup and White Rivers has indicated that off channel habitat is a limiting factor for recovery.",
