Specifically, this project will: (1) stabilize unpaved roads that are significant contributors of sediment loadings to the nearshore coasts and priorities for restoration, (2) monitoring of stabilization projects to evaluate performance and inform adaptive management needs, and  (3) build local capacity for reducing (and preventing) localized sources of pollution.",
