  "projectDescription": "The City of Toledo will restore 15.2 acres of emergent coastal/floodplain wetland habitat on the lower Maumee River.  These coastal wetland habitats will become nursery areas for juvenile migratory fish, as well as ideal habitat for other fish, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals.  Upland areas will serve as important stopover habitat for neotropical migrants, and the improved aquatic habitat will likely support resident and migratory birds due to expected high fish density and proliferation of aquatic vegetation.  Site characterization and a feasibility study have been completed.  Engineering and design is complete.  Funding for construction was also awarded through the GLRI and NOAA and is underway.",
