  "projectDescription": "This project will design a nature-like fish bypass around the Henry Ford Estate Dam in Dearborn, MI.  Once constructed, the bypass will hydrologically reconnect 50 miles of the Rouge River and 108 additional miles of its tributaries to the Great Lakes system. The primary project goal is to restore and improve fish and wildlife habitat to promote healthy populations of desirable native fish, wildlife, and benthos populations within the Rouge River Watershed. Attaining this goal will contribute substantially to the removal of the benthos, fish, and wildlife habitat and population beneficial use impairments (BUIs) in the Rouge River Area of Concern (AOC) and, ultimately, to the delisting of the AOC.",
