  "projectDescription": "The existing boat ramp at Stow Creek was extremely narrow, short and in poor condition. The project included widening and lengthening the ramp and replacing the asphalt ramp with concrete.  The project also constructed a small courtesy dock so boats can be safely boarded, loaded, and unloaded.  This project compensated for recreational losses that occurred on 26 November 2004 when the M/T Athos I (Athos) struck a large, submerged anchor and discharged of more than 263,000 gallons of crude oil into the Delaware River and nearby tributaries.",
