  "projectDescription": "The objectives of this project are to stabilize a dredged material platform on Grand Terre, created by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1996, via vegetative plantings with a variety of marsh plants and to increase the existing marsh vegetation base by removing all cattle and goats from the island.  This project was completed in the summer of 2001 with the plantings of approximately 40,000 individual units comprised of smooth, marshhay and gulf cordgrasses, bitter panicum, and black mangrove.",
