"projectDescription": "The Mad Horse Creek Wildlife Management Area contains salt marshes, wetlands dominated by the invasive plant Phragmites, agricultural lands, and associated buildings. The Mad Horse Creek restoration project will manipulate nearly 200 acres to create native wetland, wet meadow and grassland habitat. This project will compensate for losses that occurred on 26 November 2004 when the M/T Athos I (Athos) struck a large, submerged anchor and discharged of more than 263,000 gallons of crude oil into the Delaware River and nearby tributaries.",
