  "projectDescription": "Working with the Ozaukee County Planning and Parks Department Ecological Division’s Fish Passage Program to complete a shovel ready, large-scale habitat restoration project on the Ulao Creek within the Milwaukee River Watershed. The project restored high quality spawning/breeding, rearing, and feeding habitat to fish and wildlife in the AOC including important recreational species such as northern pike, walleye and white sucker which have been largely diminished or destroyed due to former habitat fragmentation. The final Phase of the project was not completed due to a property ownership issue. An alternative project with the same objectives is being implemented on the Little Menomonee River (see #4709).",
