  "projectDescription": "This project focuses on Hayworth Creek, a Noyo River tributary, described by both moderately steep, mountainous terrain and gently sloping grassland hillslopes. Numerous reports and watershed plans recommend focusing on specific restoration objectives for the Noyo River, and more specifically for the North Fork Noyo River sub-basin.  Prioritized treatment recommendations for this area include treating sediment and to introduce wood (CDFG 2006). The proposed project will reduce sediment delivery (~ 5,648 yds3) by treating prioritized sediment sources by permanently decommissioning 2.9 mi. of forest road and 35 future sediment delivery features along 1.8 miles of Hayworth Creek, and install instream wood to increase habitat complexity.",
