  "projectDescription": "In July and August 2012 the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon constructed 15,500 linear feet of riparian fencing along the upper reaches of the North Fork of Quartz Creek on the Warm Springs Reservation in Central Oregon.  This project was completed with funds from the Beaver Creek Gasoline Spill settlement.   By controlling livestock access to the creek, the fencing will help reduce erosion, enhance riparian and instream vegetation, and improve water quality downstream in Beaver Creek for the benefit of ESA-listed Mid Columbia steelhead and other aquatic species. The fence protects 132 acres of riparian and upland habitat.",
