  "projectDescription": "Project SHARE restored fish passage and stream connectivity at the 19 Road stream crossing of Richardson Brook. Site restoration involved replacement of one undersized culvert with a 24’ bridge that provides a span that is greater than 1.2 times bank full width. In addition, a buildup of road sediment as a result of a history of road washouts was removed from the natural stream channel. The project will restore connectivity of the Richardson Brook tributary system; 4.62 miles of riverine habitat was opened as a result of proposed barrier removal. In addition, removal will allow alewife access to two (2) lakes at the headwaters of Richardson Brook. Target species for the project include Atlantic salmon, native brook trout, alewife, and American eel.  Monitoring was conducted in 2014 and the data is currently being reviewed before being provided to NOAA.",
