  "projectDescription": "Save The Bay established a caged spawner scallop sanctuary in Ninigret Pond.  This sanctuary added to the efforts of the North Cape Shellfish Restoration Program and the spawner sanctuary that was established in 2005 in Ninigret Pond and continued to be monitored by Save The Bay in the summers of 2009 through 2013.  Save The Bay conducted scallop dive surveys and spat bag analysis and dive surveys in the summer of 2013 in Point Judith Pond to determine the abundance and spatial and temporal distributions of scallops and the degree of recruitment success.",
