  "projectDescription": "Save The Bay will worked with  site partners and local community members to achieve the following goals: 1) restore and enhance approximately 1.5 acres of tidal marsh transition zone for the benefit of fish and wildlife, 2) reduce weed cover and promote native plant communities to enhance the food source for sensitive fish and bird species, and 3) foster stewardship in the local community.  The federally threatened California Coast Steelhead is known to migrate through nearby San Francisquito Creek. Enhancing salt marsh habitats in the vicinity of San Francisquito Creek can provide increased benefits to water quality and detrital inputs to the estuarine environment thereby increasing the potential for beneficial use by salmonids.",
