"projectDescription": "Save the Bay worked with volunteers to restore native plants to approximately 3 acres of functioning transition zone habitat at Creekside Marsh. The Creekside Marsh is part of a larger 21-acre restored wetland at Hal Brown Park. The salt marsh and upland habitats support a breeding population of the federally endangered California clapper rail (Rallus longirostrus obsoletus) and provides suitable habitat for the salt marsh harvest mouse (Reithrodontomys raviventris). The federally threatened California Coast Steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss irideus) also migrates through the estuary which is connected to Creekside Marsh by culverts.",
